Craving a creative outlet? Maelu is excited to welcome Kendra Boothe, interior designer at A Homeplace and all around lover of handcrafted goodness, to teach Block Printing 101. In this class, you’ll learn the essentials of block printing and create a unique handmade set of art prints. In addition to carving your own rubber block and printing your custom design, you’ll also have time to explore and print with Kendra’s collection of vintage Indian woodblocks. Kendra is a big believer in the healing and energizing power of craft, creativity and community - the key ingredients in all of her workshops. Block Printing 101 is great for beginners as well as those with experience. Light refreshments and non alcoholic beverages will be provided. All participants also receive a Maelu fabric tote bag and 10% off all in store purchases on the day of the workshop. Limit of 10 participants, non refundable.
