Design your own pottery! K.T. from House of TAU pottery studio in Cabbagetown will lead a group to draw, paint and otherwise decorate several pieces of bisqueware. (“Bisqued” clay has been formed and fired). Choose from a collection of thin, hand-built pieces pre-made by K.T in differing clay bodies.
Each person can select 1-2 pinch pot bowls, plus a choice of jewelry: talismans, beads, or a pair of earrings. Several techniques will be demonstrated including wax resist and gestural watercolor painting using underglaze. K.T. is there to teach and coach. All materials are provided. Bring an apron or wear messy clothes : ) Feel free to BYOB your favorite drinks and snacks as well. This class is perfect for all levels, from beginner to expert. We hope to see you there!
Finished pieces are glazed and fired within the next week at K.T.'s studio. Final pottery is then delivered to Maelu for pick up. Pottery is food and dishwasher safe.

Class limit of 10 participants. If the class does not meet the minimum tickets, the class will be canceled and all money will be refunded. Cancellation requests cannot be accommodated as our workshop teachers invest time and supplies into each seat sold, however you are welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend.
